Rules of the River

• Glass containers are not allowed on the river.
• Cooler lids should be fastened shut. Styrofoam coolers and other containers such as cups are not permitted.
• Beer is allowed in cans, but all drinks cans must be in floatable coozies when not in closed coolers or trash bags. Coozies are not provided.
• Each canoe must have an attached closeable mesh litter bag which will be provided.
• Children 12 and under must wear a life jacket at all times whilst in the canoe.
• Everyone must have a life jacket each in the boat with them. Adult size life jackets will be provided.
• If the river level is over 6' then everyone must wear a life jacket at all times. Children will not be allowed on the river.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much does it cost?
A: For the 2022 canoe trip, it will be $58.50 per canoe plus $8.82 per person for the shuttle bus. This includes sales tax where applicable.

Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Yes, dogs are allowed. Please be aware they will be charged the same as a human being for the bus trip

Q: What if the trip is cancelled due to high river levels or bad weather?
A: If the river level is above 10' then the river will be closed to canoes and we will be refunded. If there is rain we may still proceed with the float. If the rain is bad we may be given a refund by the outfitter. If river levels are over 6 foot then it is open to advanced canoers only (no children). If this is the case, the trip may be officially canceled and we may opt to spend a day at the lake with the ski boat instead. Optionally, people may proceed with the float trip on their own at their own risk.
